Which export carries HS codes and origin countries?

Shopify's inventory export includes HS Code and Country Code of Origin columns. Product exports prepared by apps or spreadsheets with the same columns work too.

Does it tell me the correct HS code for a product?

No. It checks format and consistency across your own variants. Classifying goods under the right harmonized code remains a merchant or customs-broker decision.

How are variant-specific overrides treated?

Products whose variants use different HS codes are flagged as informational, not as errors, because per-variant overrides are legitimate — the audit just makes them visible.

Is my catalog uploaded anywhere?
