Suspension review prep
Google Merchant Center Misrepresentation Readiness Audit
Before you request another Merchant Center review, scan your feed CSV for the classic misrepresentation triggers: invalid prices, mixed currencies, missing availability, weak identifiers, and bad condition values.
Browser-side scan
Drop a product or Merchant Center feed CSV
No CSV selected
A misrepresentation suspension rarely names the exact product, so merchants fix GTINs and policy pages and still get rejected. This audit reads a sanitized Shopify product export or Merchant Center feed CSV in your browser and flags the feed-side risk signals reviewers check first: zero or unparseable prices, blank availability, rows with neither brand nor GTIN, condition values outside new/refurbished/used, and feeds that mix currencies. It also prints the manual trust checklist — contact page, physical address, return policy, secure checkout — that no CSV can prove, then exports a reconsideration-readiness worksheet. It never accesses your Google account and makes no compliance guarantees.
Import blockers
Common causes this scan checks
- Merchant Center suspended the account for misrepresentation without naming a specific product.
- Feed rows carry zero, blank, or unparseable prices that cannot match any landing page.
- Availability or condition values are missing or outside Google's accepted vocabulary.
- The feed mixes currencies or ships rows with neither a brand nor a GTIN.
Workflow
How to use the cleaned CSV
- Export your Shopify products CSV or Merchant Center feed and upload it for a local scan.
- Fix every row flagged for price, availability, identifier, condition, or currency issues.
- Manually verify the trust checklist: contact page, physical address, refund policy, and secure checkout.
- Re-sync the corrected feed and only then request the Merchant Center re-review.
Auto-fix policy
What the export can safely change
- Detects handle/ID, SKU, brand, GTIN, price, currency, availability, and condition columns.
- Flags invalid prices, blank availability, missing brand+GTIN pairs, and non-standard condition values.
- Warns when one feed mixes multiple currencies across rows.
- Exports a reconsideration-readiness worksheet with per-row risk flags, fully in the browser.

CSV example: misrepresentation readiness worksheet
The worksheet lists every feed-side misrepresentation trigger per row — the zero price, blank availability, missing brand and GTIN, and invalid condition — so the feed is clean before a re-review request.

FAQ
Shopify CSV questions
Will passing this audit lift my suspension?
No tool can promise that. It clears the feed-side signals you can control; Google also weighs live landing pages and site trust factors that need manual review.
Why does it flag rows with no brand and no GTIN?
Google matches product identity through identifiers. Rows with neither a brand nor a GTIN/MPN look unverifiable, which feeds misrepresentation risk.
Can it check my live landing pages too?
No. Browsers cannot fetch other sites cross-origin, and this tool never crawls. It audits the CSV and gives you a manual checklist for the live-page comparison.
Is my feed uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read locally with the File API. Nothing reaches a server, Google, or Shopify.
